Description
The DELL G15 5515 is a 15.6-inch laptop powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor, operating at a base frequency of 3.2GHz. It features a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card with 6GB of VRAM and a GPU clock speed of 900 MHz. Complemented by 16GB of RAM, this laptop supports smooth multitasking and satisfactory overall system performance.
The display is a 15.6" LED-backlit LCD panel with a pixel density of 141 ppi and a 165 Hz refresh rate, offering high frame-rate capabilities, though its overall visual quality is considered below average. Benchmark scores for the system are low, indicating limited performance under demanding workloads or gaming at higher settings. The 512GB NVMe SSD provides speedy file access but offers only modest storage capacity. Battery autonomy is very low, and connectivity options are limited, with a restricted selection of ports and no fingerprint scanner for biometric security.
In summary, the DELL G15 5515 is a mid-tier laptop with a satisfactory balance of processor and graphics performance, 16GB RAM, limited storage, and a fast-refresh low-quality display—suitable for budget-conscious gamers or general users engaged in light to moderate gaming, content consumption, and everyday multitasking who do not rely heavily on battery life or high-end storage and display quality.

Not a Good Gaming Laptop
I have a gotten the Dell G15 5511 with the following specs as my first laptop for Gaming: RTX 3060, Core i7-11800H, 16GB Memory, 512GB SSD. The laptop is simply bad and unreliable. A bit more than halfway past the year, it would not turn on, and turns out that the motherboard broke, they had to come and repair it. The laptop is not good for gaming. It is very loud, cannot run high graphics and high FPS, and will freeze from time to time. It’s been over a 2 years of owning it and I am still not satisfied. Now it has this glitch where I cannot press the windows icon or button and won’t let me shut it down so I have to hold the power button.
