Description
The HP Victus 15-fa1014np is a 15.6-inch laptop designed for users who value solid overall performance in a mid-range package. Equipped with a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12500H processor clocked at 2.5GHz and supported by 16GB of RAM, it is capable of handling demanding multitasking and everyday productivity tasks with ease.
Graphical performance is handled by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 dedicated GPU, featuring 6GB of VRAM and a clock speed of 1605 MHz. This allows for smooth rendering in a variety of modern applications and supports moderate gaming needs.
The display is a 15.6" IPS panel with a 144 Hz refresh rate, which contributes to a fluid on-screen experience, particularly in fast-paced visual scenarios. While the exact pixel density is unspecified, the display offers satisfactory viewing quality suitable for both work and entertainment.
Battery life is another positive aspect, with an autonomy of around 8.3 hours under typical usage. Despite this, storage performance may fall short for some users—offering 512GB of capacity on an NVMe SSD, which, while fast, may be limited for heavy file storage needs.
Connectivity options are well-rounded, featuring a set of useful and modern ports. However, biometric security features like a fingerprint scanner are not included on this model.
In benchmark testing, results may not stand out, but overall system responsiveness remains competent for daily use. This makes the HP Victus 15-fa1014np a capable and practical choice for users seeking a reliable, visually responsive laptop within a reasonable performance bracket.

Don't buy laptop from amazon they deliver refurbished laptop.
I think amazon has delivered refurbished laptop to me. After starting the laptop for 1st time it hanged for 10 minutes. Also heating issue was there. Some time screen was becoming Black. It was taking too much time to open an application also hanging while using any application. I saw same laptop on offline store it was running well so I will suggest not to buy from amazon. Either buy for offline store run and check otherwise buy from Hp store. I returned the laptop after one week.

Great machine but for display resolution
This is my 3rd HP laptop and based on my very positive experience with the other two, I jumped for this budget gaming device. Overall my experience is very positive - build quality is good, device looks great and runs fast! I use it mostly for AI model development, blogging & writing documents and it doesn't disappoint on performance. I don't play games much, so can't comment on gaming performance. There are some cons though: - Much heavier than I thought it would be - Power adapter is huge - needs a separate laptop bag of its own. [Just kidding! ;), but it's huge really] - Am disappointed with the default Intel display adapter though - it does not allow me to scale beyond 1920X1080 pixels. My previous Ryzen powered HP laptop also has similar display specs, but the Radeon display driver update allowed be to scale display resolution way beyond 1920X1080 Pixels - I can get 3000 odd pixels resolution, which makes the fonts look really cool on Windows 11 with auto scaling. I have updated the Intel display driver, but I still can't get a higher resolution than 192x1089. Given my primary use, this feature is very important for me. Wish I had opted for the Ryzen5 one instead of the Intel i5 (assuming of course that the Ryzen device could give me higher display resolution with driver update!). I would recommend this device hands down to anyone intending to use machine like I do, but for the display resolution drawback.

Nice clock speed
Best laptop, nice battery backup, best for developer
Amazon Customer
Excellent laptop!
It plays everything you throw at it at 60fps. If you have warranty issues contact HP on WhatsApp and they will rectify it after reviewing your Amazon invoices. Build is good! Battery is good for media consumption (I game only while plugged in). For some modern AAA titles like Elden Ring and Cyberpunk the fan noise is noticeably. For older games we can't hear any fan noise. Overall excellent laptop!

Be careful of the delivery!!!!
I was so looking forward to receiving my laptop.... firstly the delivery date was 10 days after the order date...secondly the laptop arrived in a damaged amazon box with no cushioning at all inside. As soon as i picked up the amazon box i could feel the laptop rattling around inside....still i took the delivery and opened the laptop and as expected there was screen damage, probably from such bad shipping...the laptop had a blue line on the screen as ive shown in the picture above.....the laptop itself is a real great product and totally value for money....ive used my friend's Victus and it works like a charm...but im so disappointed with such a big company like amazon that they didnt even bother to properly pack a product that is so expensive....60k is no joke especially for middle class people like us and still if we have to keep returning it again and again hoping we will get a non damaged product this time, then i think amazon should really reconsider their shipping techniques... NO HATE TO THE LAPTOP THOUGH THE LAPTOP IS AMAZING....THE SHIPPING RUINED IT ALL FOR ME
