Writing this Review abruptly after more than 6 years of buying it. The phone is still working really good. Though the updates have been ceased years ago. Overall really good smartphone of it’s kind.

Nice phone with updation

Superb for the rate and lot of unwanted ads can be eliminated After upgradation to colours 11 gestures are very attractive keep it up oppo camera is nice and great advantage is pop up camera really looks nice face recogonisation is attractive over all battery is good , camera is good , no heating , no hanging , after switching from Nokia oppo sounds good

Reno 2: Expected a lot more from you OPPO!!

Firstly I would like to give a 5 star rating to Amazon for delivering the item so fast. I placed the order at around 2PM in the noon and received the item on same day at around 6PM. Love you amazon for your service. Coming to the device, due to a lot of advertizements and promotions on biggest TV shows like biggboss and KBC, I was very attracted to this particular Reno 2 mobile. So much was spoken about camera. I would like to give my insight about the device in detail: Device look and feel: 5/5 I would say the device looks really premium and all the buttons (power, volume etc..) are convinient to use. OPPO has provided a good pair of earphones, and case with the device with VOOC fast charger. All these items function pretty well. Camera 3/5 Speaking about the camera, I found it quite average. I had a oneplus 5T previously and images were quite natural on that device. even selfies really came out well. Where as there was so much spoken about the Reno 2 camera and it was pretty average Night mode: was not bright as shown in the advertizements and other youtube reviews Wide angle: Worked pretty well Potrait mode: Decent job here Selfie: make us look very pretty than we actually are. I was actually look like Deepika padukone in one of the images. could you believe it????? We need reality check when it comes to selfie Speed & performance: 5/5 Since it has an snapdragon octacore processor, and an 8GB ram it is pretty fast. Fingerprint & Touch: 3/5 Fingerprint sensor needs to be worked upon a lot. It doesn't capture the fingerprint most of the times. Touch was fine but the only time it is irritating is when I try to close all the apps at once by hitting the multi task button they do not close and I have to close them individually. this can be quite irritating at times. Hence overall, I would say it is a bit over priced around 37K for its performace.

A great purchase

The phone is a major upgrade from my previous full screen cell with dew drop notch, f9 pro. Screen is fluid with excellent brightness. The battery works good and Oppo's fast charge works great to support you. The most talked abt feature is the camera which has good features and many creative options to play with but the hyped 20x zoom has very bad clarity. It does zoom to 20x but it's not worth it. The processor is good for daily use as well as gaming. COD is working smooth at highest settings. The build quality is great. Back is glass and looks exquisite. The look is premium so is the feel of the phone. A good alternative to regular flagships.

Best in it's segment..!!

This phone has the best low light photography ability..!! The attached photos are proof to it.. No other phone infact 7t doesn't have that much ability to shoot at night.. I took those night shots while traveling on a cruise ship 🛳.. Under moving conditions still the phone took best images.. Photo quality here may be downgraded but believe me it has got best lowlight photography for both front and back.. I have not shot on night mode.. I shot it on auto mode.. On night mode it was a bit more brightened up so I took on auto mode as the shutter speed in auto mode was high.. Next comes display: dynamic amoled diplay is the best one I have ever seen & used.. It's really very impressive.. Jst take care of your device a bit more if u are moving from ips lcd to amoled one like me.. Next comes battery 🔋 life: Screen shot attached.. Huge screen on time I got.. Both worked on 4g & home wifi.. Processor: 8nm 730g is superfast.. Buttery smooth.. I don't play PubG.. But according to reviews on youtube you can play seemlessly.. 🙃 Dark mode still not available.. But for eyes 👀 the display & night mode is a blessing.. My eyes strains & headache after buying this phone has reduced a lott.. Coz I read from YouTube lectures a lott.. Approximately 5 hours a day.. Fingerprint sensor is fast and accurate.. In short go for it.. Best package at best price..!!

Deadly phone for the price. Excellent camera

This is an exceptional phone from oppo. Very fast processor. Good battery back up compared to one plus 7t. Camera is too notch. Better than one plus 7 camera. Image stabilization worth mention. Shark fin camera is cool. Amazing display. Reasonably good sound. Could have provided dual speakers for the price. Fast charging is too good. In display fingerprint is super fast. Got the phone for a great discount with exchange price of 27K Attached few images shot with variable zoom from 1x to 20x zoom

Misleading 20x zoom marketing

This phone is exceptionally good but the 20x zoom as per advertised is below standard and seems like a fake strategy to create the hype. Reno 2 marketing strategy is misleading. Reno 10x has a better zoom because , Reno 2 has only 5x hybrid zoom and 20 x digital zoom, where as Reno 10x has 10x hybrid zoom and 60x digital zoom. I've reNo 2 and my cousin has Reno 10 x and this is what I saw when we compared . So don't go for the fake marketing hype that oppo created Please check before you buy this phone
