An average phone with a very disconcerting camera performance
I bought this phone replacing my M30s and by heavens was I disappointed. The features are identical. I mean no major improvements over the M30s other tha the network......that is, from 4g to 5g. Other than that in each and every aspect this device falls flat on it's face. I have an M31 as well and comparing the prices I was surprised at how bad this phone is compared to the two I mentioned hereinbefore. First of all coming to the camera......the M30s had a 48mp triple camera setting while the M31 had a 64 mp quad camera.....with 4k video recording! While this one has a measly 50mp pathetic camera with maximum FHD video recording capability and believe me, the quality is horrendous. I really don't know what the hell is happening to Samsung phones..... My M31 has a 32 mp selfie camera while the latest S24, their premium flagship phone has a 10mp selfie camera!!! How??? I am not going to replace my old phone for a long time with newer Samsung mid range devices........
