The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G is a mid-range smartphone offering a balanced mix of reliable performance and modern connectivity. It features 8GB of RAM, which supports smooth multitasking, and 256GB of internal storage, providing ample space for applications, media, and personal files. The device is powered to deliver good everyday performance, while its camera system captures images with clarity, suitable for a variety of photography needs. Battery life is satisfactory, backed by a 4500mAh capacity that supports most daily routines without frequent charging, although it does not support wireless charging. The build quality and exterior design are considered good, offering a sleek and modern look. The device includes useful features like NFC for contactless payments and 5G connectivity for faster mobile data speeds. However, the display quality is rated as below average, making it less than ideal for users who prioritize screen resolution for media consumption or gaming.
In summary, the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G is a well-rounded smartphone best suited for users seeking solid performance, large storage, and 5G connectivity in a stylish design—though it may not meet the needs of those who prioritize high display quality.

The Galaxy A52s, with One UI 6.1, gets more accurate image clipping, copy and paste for objects in one image to another, improved Gallery search, new wallpaper editing features, additional lock screen widgets, an improved weather widget, customizable backgrounds for reminders, better file sharing across Galaxy and non-Samsung Android devices, and more.
It also gets support for passkeys in Samsung Internet, enhanced protection for data stored in Samsung Cloud, easier access to video call effects, and new ways to protect the phone's battery. You can find the full changelog

ust caught eye a statement from SamMobile, and I quote - ' The Galaxy A52s, the most powerful and well-regarded Galaxy A52 model, is receiving its second security update following One UI 6.1 '.i

Doesn't that statement from this well-renowned site makes you feel good about owning this model ... It sure made me feel that way !

Got this two years ago. Dropped it a few times and it got a scratch in the screen, after which the screen would not turn on. I replaced the screen myself but then the same thing happened. Now I'm looking for a new phone.
While it worked, my experience was mixed. it was a fast phone, it had a decent camera, and I appreciated the SD card slot. But there were a couple of quality of life things that bugged the hell out of me:
1. terrible fingerprint sensor - had to put my thumb in the precise position and any sweat would cause it to fail - useless
2. weird NFC - even after 2 years I couldn't reliably make NFC payments work first time. lots of embarrassing waits at the checkout trying to pay
these two downsides more than cancel out any positive experiences I had with the phone
these basic things are more important than camera, processing speed, or anything - they're the bread and butter of using the phone and they're dire. not a fan.

Your review is great, but there is ONE BIG PROBLEM - and this is the fact, that Samsung manufactured TWO versions of A52s - one with Sony 64mpix main sensor and one with other main sensor with only 12mpix. The second version still produces "64M" images, but they are just resized from 12mpix. Mine is of course the second version.. Other problem is heavy oversharpening.. And Samsung doesn't let user set or adjust it. But there is still a way to do a quitle nice photos - use Lightroom and DNG file format. It is still 12mpix, but quality is very decent and you can do any postprocessing you want.

Been using it for two and a half years now, and overall I'm happy. The camera is meh, and it would be cooler if the charging rate was 30 and not 25. A dedicated SD card slot is something I miss too. The display is really nice, it's my first amoled and I really like the colours.

It's a very solid mid-ranger,
I'have been usining it for a year so far
but I expected better detailed images at least from the main camera....
an haptic feedback would have been nice to have and also a more recent BT version and UFS

Its construction material from the Samsung A series leaves a lot to think about, especially the A52s. Over time, the back cover and the outline of the screen come off easily. I do not recommend exposing it to humidity, water could seep in without knowing that the part rear is detached, I recommend checking it.

My A 52s 5g lasts, very easily, 4 days. It has never got hot. I really do think these people who say this on all phone forums are paid by another phone company.
If you want max battery life then reduce the display to 60hz, put to sleep or uninstall apps you don't use, or don't need awake all the time. I have very few apps running all the time or listening for info from the web. This will work on all smart phones.
