Bro it does not have a proximity sensor. Instead, it uses software called virtual proximity sensor to perform this task. This type of sensing works when u lift ur mobile in a specific angle towards ur ear. So the problem is inherent. U may however control this by making a habit of lifting mobile in a right direction

Yes, it would be a decent upgrade. However, don't expect much when it comes to camera. Slightly better than the one on A52.

I have been using Samsung A52 for the past 3 years. Experience was good. Now iam thinking of buying a new Phone and A55 is on the list.
Do you guys think it would be a good upgrade and those who have been using can share their experience.

Propaganda falsa

you could write in the pros/cons section (as you did with the Galaxy S10 back then) that the fingerprint performance issue has been fixed via software update, just to be correct

A55 is not a bad phone by any means. But the phones in this price range have become so competitive, that you need to be in the market for a Samsung phone, to buy this over some very nice alternatives.
One Ui is nice, but in mid-range Samsung phones, sometimes it becomes laggy. For flagship Samsung phones, One Ui is nice and smooth, but in mid-range and low-end is not so good experience.

I'd probably get the A55. While the Redmi is better in some aspects, the poor software support and SoC lets it down.
