Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Review After 6 months.
**Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Review** The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is a powerhouse smartphone that excels in many areas but does have a couple of notable drawbacks. **Issues:** 1. **Heating Problem:** In hot climates, the device tends to heat up during intensive tasks like gaming or streaming. While the auto-stop feature during charging is a good safety measure, it can be inconvenient as it interrupts usage until the phone cools down. 2. **Battery Life:** Despite its high-resolution screen and advanced features, the battery drains relatively quickly, requiring a recharge by evening with moderate usage. **Advantages:** 1. **Camera Excellence:** The S22 Ultra eliminates the need for a separate DSLR with its outstanding camera quality, especially in Pro mode and background blur effects, making it a photographer's dream. 2. **Stunning Display:** The device boasts an impressive display that enhances every task, from viewing content to changing wallpapers, delivering a premium visual experience. 3. **Audio Performance:** The speakers deliver excellent sound quality without any issues, enhancing multimedia consumption and gaming experiences. 4. **S Pen Functionality:** The S Pen features are extensive and practical, aiding in note-taking and professional tasks, proving to be a valuable addition to the device. 5. **Performance:** With no reported lags or hang-ups even during intensive tasks like gaming, the S22 Ultra offers consistent and smooth performance. 6. **Long-term Support:** The promise of six years of Android updates ensures longevity and keeps the device relevant and secure for years to come. **Overall Verdict:** Despite its heating and battery concerns, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra impresses with its camera capabilities, display quality, audio performance, and overall smooth operation. For users seeking a high-end smartphone with exceptional features and long-term support, especially at a discounted price during offers, the S22 Ultra proves to be a compelling choice. BTW I got for 67k so search for good offers..

"For some, even a phone's minor heat is become a major problem."
The S22 Ultra in Green is an absolute delight, seamlessly blending aesthetics with top-tier performance. Let's delve into its highlights. Firstly, the camera surpasses expectations, capturing moments with stunning clarity and vividness. The intricate detailing and dynamic range of colors make every shot a masterpiece. The processor's efficiency complements the camera, ensuring swift image processing and smooth multitasking. The response speed is truly unmatched, effortlessly handling demanding tasks without a hint of lag. Furthermore, the fingerprint sensor works seamlessly, providing quick and secure access to the device. Notably, the Indian variant, shipped as promised, offers peace of mind, contrasting with the concerns some have voiced regarding non-native versions. Although some reviews emphasized overheating concerns, my personal experience suggests that the device exhibits a manageable level of warmth during extended usage, remaining within acceptable limits. Additionally, the S-pen's performance is impeccable, delivering a smooth and precise user experience, ideal for both creative endeavors and everyday tasks. However, the only discernible downside lies in the average battery life, requiring intermittent recharging for prolonged usage. Despite this drawback, the S22 Ultra's overall performance and feature set leave me thoroughly impressed and wholly content with my purchase. It's a powerhouse device that seamlessly integrates into my daily routine, making it a worthy investment for any tech-savvy individual seeking a premium smartphone experience.

Premium and bulky, but I loved it
There no doubt that it one of the best Android smartphone you can buy, however it is the same size as my Redmi note 10 Pro Max but bulky, you need to be careful while using it in one hand as Screen is very fragile and there is no case or cover out there that can protect screen but only edges can be saved by a case. Now the operation is very smooth, camera is also good but you need to be more cautious and aware about the camera operations, because it wont click nice picture automatically as you might have seen in reviews. So, there should be a little photographer inside you to produce good images, otherwise if you just start clicking pics randomly, you won't find it attractive at all, it will be very similar to other normal smartphones, grainy and blurry and what not. So, keep that in mind, it can take good quality pictures and videos but you should know how to get it from this device. Best selfie camera in any phone I have ever seen, I wish they have done the same with rear camera as well, just open front camera and take a pick and it will be hard to delete that as it will look great. Battery life is the weak point with this phone, won't last whole day if you are a heavy user. If you will use camera extensively then it will last even lesser. 15 min of camera use will consume 15-20% of battery life and it will heat as well while using camera, specially while recording videos in 4K, you will feel it on top of cover as well, but it didn't hampered any operations yet (maybe throttling in the background, but not that much noticeable to user). Display is one the best you would find, pleasure to watch anything on it, however I am not a gamer and didn't tried any game except candy crush. Due to the fact that it is very fragile, I have bought 2 year comprehensive warranty for this phone, that will over 1 damage to the phone each year for two years. (Cost-14K) Got it in 78K (approx. with no cost emi) during Diwali sale, for some reason as soon as Diwali sale was over, all of its covers prices hiked to double (Spigen etc). I would recommend it if you are a fan of big phones, OneUI is still not that responsive as IOS or Pixcel phones. But does not lag too far from them. Hope this will help. Update : After using it for more than 10 months now, battery started to show it actual color. It does not last for whole day (morning to evening) if you are using it moderately (3hr to 4hr SOT), battery drains around 15%-20% during night only. Maybe I would need to replace the battery soon in coming mothns.

Flagship | I-Phone Killer (Updated after receiving Freshly sealed Model)
UPDATED : - I was skeptical at first as the Amazon packaging was closed but Samsung packaging seal was opened at first but still used the same model and later found somewhat heating issues of the phone with little bit of throttling in first few days but later the AI/ Machine Learning worked pretty good and after the phone learnt my usage patterns it worked and optimized pretty well. I had waited for the package and grabbed it when the green one stock came back and that too with exchange I got it for around 89k. Quite happy and satisfied. Anyways, as my model was in replacement period I thought of replacing it with a model that is not yet opened and with it's box seal still intact. Hence, later I received the new model two days back and it was totally sealed and new as well. Now the main question was to check and compare the performances of both the models and I found the following : - Old Phone (seal broken) vs New Phone (seal intact) -it heated easily under load There was min of 2-3 C -max benchmark unlimited stress test It gave even without AI optimization (36 to 42) temp -> 38 to 44 C ( 42-43 after the AI has optimized) It cooled down faster than the old one. SO I am very happy that I am enjoying a newly sealed phone. The seller did a great job as well. I would recommend you guys to go for replacement or return in order to get a fresh close sealed phone as you are paying a huge sum of money. Now the PROS and CONS (after almost using it for 2 to 3 weeks):- Pros- -Great camera quality. -CAMERA - 10/10 -Nice build quality - -STYLE and DESIGN - 10/10 -S-PEN 10/10 -BATTERY - 9/10 -The metallic body feels premium to touch -S-pen notes , calculations, sketches and rough work is fun and handy too. - this color beats other burgundy or black option but it's completely your choice. -fast UI and overall free ram of over 5 GB lefts and that's great to a extent. - The AI is super fast in understanding your usage pattern and hence gives better battery backup and maintains core temperature of phone as well. (AI = 10/10) Cons (not a big deal though) - -The phone can be little bit bulky to hold after putting the Spigen cover. - because of the metal body , can heat to a degree of 37 degree to 40 when under too much load. (depends on model I guess) Overall I loved this product and the color green) itself is a win-win situation for me. I am in love with this much awaited phone. Please do comment if your phone body heats to some extent. (not a big deal though XD)

The best phone for photography...
I bought the Phantom Black 512 GB variant of S22 Ultra. I pre-booked the device along with the Watch 4 offer. My net cost after all discounts and offers for the combo was Rs. 1.14 lakhs. RATINGS: OVERALL 9/10 Camera: 10/10 (the best photography on a smartphone; for videos however, iPhone 13 Pro would be best though). Software: 9/10 Display: 10/10 Battery Life: 6/10 Charging speed: 7/10 Sound and Haptics: 7/10 Performance: 9/10 Features: 9/10 Call quality: 8/10 Heating: 8/10 (the phone runs warm most of the time; this could be because of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor) Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner: 10/10 (it is impressively fast and accurate) Face Unlock: 9/10 (it is superfast in well lit environments, but doesn't work in dark environments) Here's my review after almost a year of use: CONS 1. This is a 2 handed phone. It is big and you'll be uncomfortable using it with one hand. I wish the phone was slightly narrower and came with a grippy sandstone case. 2. No pre-installed screen protector. I don't think you'll find a perfectly fitting screen protector either due to the curved edges. 3. Battery life is just okay. I get about 4 to 5 hours SOT on a full charge. 4. Charging speed is bad. I bought the Samsung 45W Travel adapter and it takes about 1.5 hours to fully charge the device. This is pretty slow compared to what we see with OnePlus/ Xiaomi/ Oppo/ Vivo phones. 5. No charger or earphones in the box. Only the phone and a Charging cable (tpye C to type C) is provided. 6. Phantom White in 512 GB is not available in India (only 256 GB is available). I wanted it, but had to settle with the Black option. Some reviewers say that the Black variant gets scratched easily for some reason, so keep that in mind. 7. OneUI doesn't use Material You theme of Android 12 in it's full glory. Some people may like it, some would prefer the stock Android feel as seen on Pixel and Motorola devices. It's not bad though, but just not a refreshing change. So putting it in CONS section. 8. Status bar icons are not too customizable. However, if you install GoodLock modules, they can be customised. 9. Curved Display: This has no practical use. They only look good on marketing materials. When you are actually using the phone, there is absolutely no benefit. On the contrary, content gets bent at the edges and not great especially when watching videos or photos. PROS 1. The best camera on a smartphone for photography. For videos however, iPhone 13 Pro is best. I bought this phone primarily for 2 reasons: the cameras, and the S-Pen which comes with it's own housing. 2. S-Pen: Only phone with the pen feature. 3. The best Display on a smartphone. I have kept the default FHD+ resolution (120 Hz adaptive refresh rate) just because there is hardly any difference you'll notice between FHD+ and WQHD+ on a small screen, and also because there is hardly any content that is of such high resolution. So I switched back to the default setting to prolong battery life. 4. Feature rich software: This has both plus and minus points. Minus because more and more features means more chance of bugs and device slowing down due to bloatware. It also consumes battery. On the positive side, you can do a lot of things, although much of it is fancy, non-essential stuff. 5. One handed use option (software feature) is very nice. 6. Switching between light and dark themes is very smooth along with adaptive pallette selection. 7. Phone has built-in call recording feature (atleast in India) without the stupid voice announcement. As of 2022-2023, Samsung, iQOO and Vivo phones are the only phones that provide this feature. All other phones come with Google Dialer with the stupid voice announcement. On OnePlus phones, user can install ODialer (from Google Play Store) to enable automatic silent call recording. 8. Performance is very good. 9. This is the first time that Samsung has brought the Snapdragon chip model to India. Based on reviews, it is better than the Exynos variant just as in previous years. 10. Both Face Unlock and under display ultrasonic Fingerprint scanner are SUPERFAST. Although in dark environments, face unlock struggles to unlock the phone. Using the Fingerprint is better in dark environments. I got two cases: Spigen Thin Fit and Caseology Parallex (a Spigen sub-brand). They fit perfectly, without adding bulk to the device. I haven't found a screen protector yet that would fit perfectly without bubbles at the edges. So that sums up my experience with the phone over 10 months of use. Hope this helps you with your choice of smartphone. EDIT: I had pre-booked the device on the 5th of March and it was delivered to me on the 17th of March, even though deliveries began on the 12th itself. My complaint is w.r.t the fact that the exact same variant was available with 1 day delivery to my pincode starting from the 12th. So anyone who ordered between 11th to 15th would have received their delivery within a day, earlier than me. This is unfair because seller has to service orders on a first-come-first-served basis. I can't accept someone ordering upto 10 days after me to get his order before me. But I will keep this in mind next time I want to pre-book on Amazon. When I enquired about it, customer service told me that I got it at a discount. That's a terrible explanation because there was no indication of that when I pre-booked the device. The offline stores were offering pretty much the same deal. Had I gone with an offline purchase, i would have got it much earlier for the same price, plus I need not have worried about the product getting damaged during transit. I mean I can inspect the box and make a decision before purchase at an offline store. The box I received had a few minor damages, although everything inside was fine. Expect delays in deliveries if you pre-book an item on Amazon, even if the item is in stock and available for delivery to your pincode by the same seller.
