The VIVO V23 Pro is a smartphone equipped to handle everyday tasks with competent performance and multitasking support, thanks to its 12GB of RAM. It delivers a solid photographic experience with a good camera setup, allowing users to capture quality images in a variety of conditions. Storage capacity is generous at 256GB, offering plenty of room for apps, media files, and documents without the constant need to clear space.
Its 4300mAh battery may not provide long-lasting autonomy, especially for heavy users, and recharging may be required more frequently throughout the day. Additionally, the device does not feature wireless charging or NFC connectivity, limiting some convenience features found in other modern smartphones. The display quality is satisfactory, offering a decent viewing experience for video, browsing, and general use. The device supports 5G connectivity, ensuring access to faster data speeds where available. However, its overall design is considered underwhelming compared to other smartphones in its price category.
In summary, the VIVO V23 Pro is a smartphone offering good performance, ample RAM and storage, decent camera capabilities, and 5G support, making it suitable for users focused on multitasking, media consumption, and photography, but who are willing to compromise on battery life, design aesthetics, and advanced features like NFC and wireless charging.

Well, the Essential PH-1 was the first to utilize a notched display, 4 months before Apple releases the iPhone X

"...zoom shoots are purely digital and captured from the 108MP main camera. It definitely has plenty of resolution to go around. 2x photos look quite comparable to 1x ones and preserve most of the same quality... "
Sometimes it seems to me, that I and Gsmarena's authors look at totally different pictures. I find 2x shots nothing less than horroble in terms of resolution. It's indeed just an upscaling from 12MP shot, not crop from 108MP without any AI edge sharpening etc. And it goes after excellent 3x lossless zoom of aging Realme 8 Pro (same 108MP). Shame on vivo.

How is it these companies keep turning out phones ruined by a fugly distracting notch? Apple, look what you have done!
