I feel this phone is much better at its price when compared to other phones. I have 16gb variant still it doesn't lag but has less storage space which is the only con in this device yet you can add memory card and get additional storage. Camera is okay, it gets the job done. Face unlock works efficietly outdoors but struggles in indoor low lighting (guys who previously used finger print reader phones may find it difficult at beginning like me but i got habituated). I'm the guy who previously had redmi 3s prime and it was a good update for me as i don't want to spend much for a smartphone . And the difference i noticed from my 3s prime to this device is that this device has an amazing display and good speakers than my previous phone and a minor camera improvement and a better looking phone. Battery life obviously is exceptionally well just like my old phone. The other thing i like about this phone is that it's very compact and fits easily in your hand and pocket.you can easily use the phone one-handed. That was an amazing thing which most of phones these days lack. I personally like MIUI except the fact that these days there are many ads even in default system apps. You can disable ads however but not for system apps like mi music, mi video etc. I suggest most of guys to not use system apps instead use play music,MX player and any third party apps so that adds don't pop up. I think this phone is not for those who are looking for a great camera and great gaming performance. I mean games like candy crush, subway surfers etc are fine but don't play heavy games like PUBG. charging time is 3hours. I am usually the guy who keeps phone charging all night. So that's not my concern. I didn't faced any heating issues till now after my 2 weeks of usage. Be careful with device as back panel is made of plastic. Audio through headphone jack is also good. I didn't face any problem while having phone conversations through speaker and earpiece as well. I bought it for ₹3k as i exchanged my previous phone for which i got 2000₹off. I bought this phone during dussehra sale. I suggest you guys also to do the same thing, wait for any offers . Othrwise if you are okay with 5799 then also it's fine. This device is worth it. I didn't consider realme c2 as an option because i am a Xiaomi phone user . I used 3s prime for almost 3 years and . So i don't wanted to shift to a new brand and also i didn't like color os.

This is an amazing deal for a secondary device. Specially I bought it for my Mother. And she can't be any happier. She has very little use of any performance prone applications. Yes. This phone is not for performance hungry apps. Games like PUBG cannot be enjoyed. As the internal space is very less, and ram is just 2 GB. But tasks like daily browsing, social media and YouTube run like butter on a hot pan. Camera is not what you would expect from this. Just a decent amount of pixels. And trust me the pictures I shot on this have come out great. Yes they are edited on Lightroom. Battery is amazing and will last you long. Screen somewhat is its draw back. In broad daylight, you will have to increase the brightness to maximum. But got it on sale for 4499/- makes it a steal deal. Even if you want to buy a first smartphone it's amazing. Also it's direct comparison is from Redmi Go. Which lands somewhere under 5k and a few bucks can be added to buy this device. Trust me you would not regret buying this. Realme C2 is also a good option if you hate the adverts on the MIUI. But for me C2 feels too big and small phones are really a thing. Go for it.

Read my full detailed review before buying it. Redmi 7A is a low cost entry level phone targeted at first time smartphone users. Here is my extensive opinion about Redmi 7A : 🙂 PROS : 1. Good design & build quality 2. Massive battery life 3. P2I water repellent coating 4. Wireless FM Radio 5. Two years warranty 🙁 CONS : 1. Bloated software 2. Absence of fingerprint scanner 3. Silicone case is not included 📱DESIGN & BUILD : Redmi 7A comes with a clean unibody design which looks simple and elegant. Even with matte finished polycarbonate body, phone feels solid and it's build to last. Phone feels comfortable for one handed usage. 🎮 PERFORMANCE : Redmi 7A is powered by Snapdragon 439 processor. SD439 can handle day to day tasks without any hassles. Basic games like Candy Crush or Temple Run can be played without any difficulty. Performance can't be better than this at such incredible price tag. Opt for more storage and RAM according to requirements. 📸 CAMERA : Phone comes with a 13 MP rear and 5 MP front camera. Rear camera manages to capture sufficient details that is expected of an entry level phone. Selfie camera is also quite fine and captures good pictures considering its price. Google camera mod can deliver even better images. 🔊 DISPLAY & SPEAKERS : Phone comes with 5.45 inch HD+ IPS display. Display is extremely good considering phone's price. It offers vivid colours and gets enough bright for outdoor usage. Speakers are just average and media consumption can be enjoyable. 🔋BATTERY : Redmi 7A houses a 4,000mAh battery and comes with a 10 watt micro USB charger. Full charge takes about 2 hours and it can last for 2 days with normal usage. Even with little heavy usage, you can expect full day battery life. 🏁 FINAL VERDICT : With a relatively petite frame, great battery life, a sturdy design and an attractive price point, the Redmi 7A is quite a steal. Redmi 8A is even better but I bought it discount price during sale. 2 year warranty was a no brainer for me. Overall it's a perfect purchase. I hope this helped you 🙂
