Good budget phone but not for gamers!
Screen quality is the USP..good amoled display used Cameras are good.... though suffer in low light Build is good... light weight slim.. easy to handle... even one handedly... screen size is decent though you can expect more in this price segment Processor fast efficient and doesn't heat up....but not for heavy RPGs like PUBG Free fire COD etc Battery brilliant....with moderate use(no gaming) last almost 1.75-2days... MIUI is superb... few Bloatware present but can be uninstalled or disabled, though I once felt a glitch or bug... but contacted mi..they solved it in 2 days You might think I talked too much flaws....no don't consider them...cause it is the best all rounder in this price segment Low light photography heavy gaming big screen size etc can't be expected in this price segment Overall it's killer in this price segment (under 15k)... Go for it without a second thought if you are not a gamer

Too good to be true ?
The phone looks outright flaship right out of the box. The matte finish on the back, amoled screen, lightweight, everything seems to be checking the boxes of a great smartphone at an unbelievable price. However, there are some things that you'll start noticing after a couple of days of usage. The earpiece grill is well placed on top and by the dimensions, it seems that it is the secondary speaker as well. On looking closely, we can see that the actual earpiece is aligned on one side and the huge grill is just a design for symmetry. Same thing with the actual secondary speaker on top. The actual speaker size is one-thirds of the grill cutout. Although the back is plastic, it is of acceptable quality and the sides can almost pass as metal for a casual user. The choice of using plastic is a huge contributor in thw phone being super lightweight and gets a thumbs up from my end. All in all, despite some cunning cost cutting strategies used by redmi, the phone still delivers great value for money, and is a very clear choice over a lot of phones in the same segment. 5000 mah battery in todays world of 6000-7000 mah may seem on the lower side to some, but it will easily get you through the day or even more in some cases, thanks to the optimized Snapdragon 678 chipset as compared to exynos chips. The 4 gb 64 gb version is also a great option if storage is not a concern point. None of the phones at this price range should be considered for heavy gaming. The 60Hz screen refresh rate is one thing that can impact someone's decision coming from a 90Hz or above screen. But in my opinion, 60hz is still a good refresh rate as most apps still don't support higher rates.

Camera is not good as expected
I am using it for last 10 days overall phone is good by design and working speed the only thing which disappointed me is camera quality is not too good as expected its better than normal phones but it could have been better hope it can be fixed in miui's update later. Other cool features of camera is not available like AI.

Superb phone at this budget 😍
In this budget you will get absolutely good mobile.. If you don't play game extremely it is very good choice for you . Camera quality - Good 👍 both primary and front Screen / display - super quality 👍 Lag issue - not facing so much Add issue - not so much Battery - good but battery drainage problem occurs Charge - fast charging Overall very good phone at this budget.. Dont see at negative comments.. I also felt very disappointed before ordering this mobile... But i order after all and now after using it it feels really good. So go for it.. ☺ And if you watch blue light appears at both side of screen while screen is off.. Dont be scared.. It's notification light ( I also scared firstly then finally found why this is happening) so dont worry... From my opinion this is very good choice to buy at this budget ☺😍

Review after 20days of use: 1. Finger print sensor is fast 2. Camera quality is good. But after using for 10mins, the phone is over heating. 3. Screen brightness is good in outdoors and indoors 4. Battery backup is good. 5. Speaker is not so loud. It's ok. 6. Cast is not working in sony smart tv 2017 model. 7. Camera quality is not good in whatsapp video call. 8. Performance is fast in my 6gb/128gb variant. 9. Light weight and build quality is good 10. Battery is 5000mah. But I experienced the Battery is draining like it's a 4000mah. Overall it's good in price range. Value for money.
