Lags frequently from the day I purchased, made 2 software updates at MI service centre but still it lags, sometimes hangs, and switches off. IRRITATING 😖😖!!

Great Value 5G Phone!
The Redmi Note 12 5G has fantastic features for the price. The display is vibrant, and performance is smooth for everyday tasks. The camera takes decent photos in good lighting. Battery life is also impressive. And the superfast charging mode is such a time saver. Overall, a solid budget-friendly 5G option. After the latest update in 2025, I saw a noticeable change in device heating. Which was not happening before. (Bought in 2023)

So, the thing is, if you are someone who is only looking for a phone that is fast, has good battery life, and the only thing you care about is performance, then definitely go for it. But, but, but if camera quality is a concern, then this phone is absolutely terrible. Nightlight pictures are so bad that you might feel ashamed to take pictures. My concerns are not about camera quality, as the only time I use the camera is for using Google Pay and PhonePe. Daylight pictures are good but not that great. Another major off-putting thing is the operating system (MIUI); it's buggy and comes with a ton of bloatware.
