The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G is a smartphone designed to offer a balanced mobile experience across various usage needs. It features 8 GB of RAM, providing sufficient support for multitasking and everyday performance. With 256 GB of internal storage, it offers ample space for apps, media, and documents.
The device houses a 5000 mAh battery, which contributes to its autonomy. However, overall battery performance is considered below average. Users should expect more frequent charging depending on usage patterns. Wireless charging is not supported.
The smartphone includes an NFC chip, allowing compatibility with contactless payment systems and other related features. 5G connectivity is not available, with the device limited to 4G networks.
The display delivers a satisfactory viewing experience, adequate for browsing, streaming, and general use. Similarly, the camera and design meet standard expectations, offering good functionality and appearance without notable strengths or weaknesses.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G is a mid-tier device that meets essential smartphone needs with reliable storage and reasonable performance across most areas, though it may fall short for users heavily reliant on battery life or looking for next-generation wireless features.

Found to be convenient to use and additional features compared to my Samsung same range. Call recorder not automatic for all calls is a negative

The Redmi 12 5G comes with a decent set of features at an affordable price, but it has some drawbacks, particularly in heating and battery performance. Pros: ✅ Display: The 6.79-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate provides a smooth and immersive experience for gaming and media consumption. ✅ Performance: The Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor handles daily tasks well and supports 5G connectivity. ✅ Design: The phone has a premium glass back design, which is rare in this price segment. ✅ Camera: The 50MP primary camera captures decent shots in good lighting conditions. ✅ Software: MIUI 14 based on Android 13 offers a feature-rich experience. Cons: ❌ Heating Issues: The device tends to heat up during gaming, video recording, or extended usage, making it uncomfortable to hold. ❌ Battery Performance: The 5000mAh battery should last longer, but due to software optimizations (or lack of them) and heating issues, the battery drains faster than expected. Heavy users may need to charge twice a day. ❌ Bloatware: MIUI comes with pre-installed apps, some of which cannot be removed easily. Verdict: The Redmi 12 5G is a good option if you need a budget-friendly 5G smartphone with a solid display and decent performance. However, the heating problem and fast battery drain could be deal-breakers for power users

Found the phone comfortable to use, and with a front camera that is almost as good as the Apple phones, at one-fourth of the cost. The extra memory capacity is also very useful.

I use redmi for almost 10 years now. So this time also I put trust on redmi and bought redmi note 12 pro. Everything is good except for heating issues and battery drainage. Sometimes it get heated even while charging. The previous phone i didn't have issue about heating but it is a major issue on this one. Also I personally feel the battery drains so fast. I don't play games at all or use YouTube too much. Still the battery goes down fast. Otherwise no issues. Everything good like the previous ones.
